It took a good bit of time, although not nearly as long as we had expected, but we are finally out of that tiny, smelly tent! Jacoby and I have built our home! It's just a small three-room cabin, but with all the love we've poured into it, how could I not love it already? We're going to be so happy here, but we'll definitely need to add on another room if and when we have children. It's cozy for the two of us, but it would sure be crowded with three!
Sales are going well with my little business, Pretties by Parker. I'm so happy to know that others are enjoying my work and it's nice to have those extra simoleons to add to our nest egg. Jacoby's sales are all but skyrocketing as word gets out about his work. He's even been asked to help build a new barn for a farmer who lives near us. Jacoby told him he'd think it over, he wants to be certain we have all we need first, but it looks like he'll be able to accept the job. I'm hoping he does because the farmer's wife said she'd throw in some baking tips and said we could either have two chickens or fresh farm eggs for life!
