Expanding
Jacoby has been steadily working, there's no slowing him down! He completed the barn job and then he, with the help of some friends, have built on to our cabin! We now have two bedrooms and the time couldn't be more perfect because I'm expanding too! We have our first baby on the way and we couldn't be happier!
I've still been painting, but with the baby on the way, I've decided to pick up on my knitting and have made a few things for around the house. Tomorrow I'll start working on some baby clothes.
New Endeavors
I am so tired of knitting! I don't even enjoy it anymore so I've taken up painting! Jacoby built me an easle and I've been painting every day. I'm still learning so I'm not very good yet, but it turns out that there's a collector who enjoys purchasing local artwork and he has been buying every one of my paintings. I'm thrilled! I do still knit at least one project a day just to keep building my skill, but I spend the majority of my day with my canvases.
Jacoby has built all we'll need for a little one so now we're just waiting for it to happen. He's also accepted the barn building job and started that yesterday morning. He works all day, but still comes home to have each meal with me. Soon, we'll start renovating our little cabin to make it more spacious for when we have our baby. Hopefully, it won't be too long from now. Jacoby and I both have birthdays coming up soon and we're not getting any younger!

Home Sweet Home
It took a good bit of time, although not nearly as long as we had expected, but we are finally out of that tiny, smelly tent! Jacoby and I have built our home! It's just a small three-room cabin, but with all the love we've poured into it, how could I not love it already? We're going to be so happy here, but we'll definitely need to add on another room if and when we have children. It's cozy for the two of us, but it would sure be crowded with three!
Sales are going well with my little business, Pretties by Parker. I'm so happy to know that others are enjoying my work and it's nice to have those extra simoleons to add to our nest egg. Jacoby's sales are all but skyrocketing as word gets out about his work. He's even been asked to help build a new barn for a farmer who lives near us. Jacoby told him he'd think it over, he wants to be certain we have all we need first, but it looks like he'll be able to accept the job. I'm hoping he does because the farmer's wife said she'd throw in some baking tips and said we could either have two chickens or fresh farm eggs for life!
A Healthy Escape
The world just keeps getting crazier. Rioting, looting, and countless amounts of other acts of violence are now a daily occurrence not only in our little corner of the world but all over. The larger cities are the worst with crime rates rising daily. This is not the type of world we want to raise our children in, so my husband Jacoby and I decided to pack up a few essentials that we're able to carry and we're moving to a remote area in the county to escape the madness. We're leaving all technology behind and moving off the grid!
For now, at least, we've settled on a little plot of land deep in the countryside of Henford-on-Bagley. There are people nearby, but not many and they seem to be like-minded and as concerned as we are. Jacoby is a mastermind with his handiwork on his woodworking table and can create anything from simple little decorations to sturdy furniture and even showers, sinks, and tubs! He's going to create all we'll need and then create more to sell at the farmers market nearby. I've been working on knitting and crocheting and have become pretty good as well if I do say so myself. Each of my creations is completed with a little tag that says "Pretties by Parker".
I think we're going to be happy here. However, I'll be happier when Jacoby finishes our cabin and we can move out of this tent!
